Zdravko Milić, HRV
(Labin, 1953)
He was born in Labin in 1953. He completed Secondary School of Applied Arts in Split, Department of Graphics, in 1973. He obtained a degree in painting from the Accademia di Belle Arti in Venice, in the class of Prof. Carmelo Zotti, in 1977. In 1988, he furthered his studies in mosaic at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux Arts in Paris in the class of Prof. Riccardo Licata. Since 2006, he has worked as an assistant professor at the Academy of Applied Arts in Rijeka, teaching the courses in painting and mosaic. He has exhibited in more than 90 solo and over 600 group exhibitions in the country and abroad (Italy, Austria, Slovenia, Germany, Netherlands, France, Portugal, Hungary, Poland, Great Britain, Australia…). He has participated in a large number of international painting and sculpture symposia. He has received numerous awards and recognitions for his work in Croatia and abroad. His works are included in significant Croatian and foreign private and museum collections. He lives and works in Labin and Rijeka.
He participated in the Mediterranean Sculpture Symposium in 2001.
