He was born in Osaka, Japan, in 1964. He studied sculpture at Musashino University of the Arts and the Pacific Art Research Institute in Tokyo. He has taken part in numerous sculpture symposia in Japan and abroad. He is the author of many sculptures in public spaces. He has won numerous awards and recognitions for his work.

He participated in the Mediterranean Sculpture Symposium in 1999.
