He was born in 1933, in Trieste, Italy. In 1955, he graduated from the School of Applied Arts in Split, sculpture in the class of Željko Radmilović and painting in the class of Ante Kaštelančić. He worked as a senior preparator – restorer of the Archaeological Museum of Istria in Pula. He has restored many mosaics and made replicas of medieval frescoes of many Istrian churches. His replicas of the frescoes have been presented in exhibitions in Croatia and abroad.

He took part in the Mediterranean Sculpture Symposium in 1988.
