Antonio Paradiso, ITA
(Santeramo in Colle, Bari, Italy, 1936)
He was born in 1936 in Santeramo in Colle, near Bari, Italy. He studied at the Brera Academy in Milan, in the class of Prof. Marino Marini. He has exhibited at the most important museums and galleries in Italy and abroad. He has participated in the Triennale in Milan, the Biennale in Venice and the Quadriennale in Rome. He has often travelled, crossing the Sahara and the deserts of subtropical Africa, completing his studies in Anthropology and Palaeontology to enrich his scientific research in the arts. Today, he lives and works in Milan and Matera, where he has founded the La Palomba Sculpture Park, which houses his sculptures, as well as sculptures by many other internationally recognized authors.
He took part in the Mediterranean Sculpture Symposium in 1970.
