She was born in Bajmak, Serbia, in 1912. She studied in Zagreb, Graz and Vienna, and received her art education at the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade. She completed her postgraduate studies in the class of sculptor Toma Rosandić. She is one of the most important representatives of Contemporary Sculpture in the former Yugoslavia. Her approach to art was beyond the flow of time and is considered one of the initiators of the change of style in the Yugoslav sculpture. She left a big mark in Subotica, marking the post-war art life of the city. Apart from Subotica, she is the author of public sculptures in many other cities in Serbia and the former Yugoslavia. The collection of her sculptures is displayed in the City Museum of Subotica. She died in Belgrade in 2008.

She participated in the Mediterranean Sculpture Symposium in 1975.
