He was born in Belgrade in 1931. He graduated from the Department of Sculpture at the Academy of Applied Arts in Belgrade.

He became a member of the Association of Fine Artists of Serbia (ULUS) in 1955. He exhibited in many solo and group exhibitions at home and abroad. He is the author of 1,215 sculptures, of which more than 500 busts and 32 public monuments. He died in Belgrade in 2016.

He participated in the Mediterranean Sculpture Symposium in 1974.
