He was born in Rijeka in 1939. He obtained a degree in sculpture from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, in the class of Prof. Vanja Radauš, in 1964. He furthered his studies in the Netherlands, England, Italy, Germany, Poland and France (Cité internationale des arts Paris). He is a full member of the Croatian Association of Fine Artists Rijeka, and since 1967 he has been working as an independent artist. He is the author of many public sculptures at home and abroad. He has participated in numerous urban design projects and competitions as a member of the Rijeka group “Sila”. He worked as a set and costume designer at the Puppet Theatre in Rijeka. He has exhibited in more than a hundred group and solo exhibitions at home and abroad and participated in many sculpture symposia and colonies. He has won many awards and recognitions. He lives and works in Rijeka.
